Big Finish marked Colin Baker’s birthday with details of the next set of adventures for the Sixth Doctor.

It’s destination: Trion for Colin Baker, Mark Strickson and Nicola Bryant in The Sixth Doctor Adventures: Reunion, due for release August 2026.

The Sixth Doctor (Colin Baker) has been reunited with Vislor Turlough (Mark Strickson), a treacherous travelling companion from his previous incarnation. Together with Peri (Nicola Bryant), they’re exploring time and space. But an end is in sight…

Following on from April’s Expulsion, The Sixth Doctor Adventures: Reunion is a box set of three full-cast audio episodes, in which the trio visit London in the swinging sixties and a planet hiding a dark secret. And in the third episode, Turlough finally returns to his home planet – Trion.

Having been previously exiled from Trion, this is a big moment for Turlough, and a dangerous one too – the planet is under occupation by the brutal Avokan forces. Turlough wants to liberate his people, but the Doctor soon discovers that his old companion may be as untrustworthy as ever.
