Titan Comics, out now

It’s 2029 and Blade Runner Ash’s activities have brought her to the attention of Yotun, a rogue Nexus 6 that she failed to capture 12 years ago.

Yotun is shaping up to an impressive adversary for Ash in this comic book continuation of Ridley Scott’s 1982 movie. He’s lived beyond his years but has a presence and attitude akin to Rutger Hauer’s Nexus 6 Roy Batty.

Ash is called in to the police precinct to hear that a fellow Blade Runner has had his spine forcibly removed, while across town someone of influence has lost his eye. And if that wasn’t bad enough, someone has broken into her apartment and making an offer she can’t refuse.

Verdict: Each new issue of this comic is a joy, spoiling us with beautiful visuals and teasing us with just enough plot to keep us hanging on. 9/10
