With 48 hours to wait for the sealant to dry on the yacht, Sammy and Brooklynn go investigating, while the others chase a stolen compass.

What haven’t we seen before in the Jurassic franchise? That seems to have been the logic behind some of the decision making for this third season of Camp Cretaceous (as well as the ‘let’s have Darius not always be right’ referred to before). This time out, we see humans chasing dinosaurs, rather than the other way round, after the shining compass is nicked by one of the Compys – before a rather special guest appearance by Blue, the “trained” raptor from Jurassic World. Blue’s taken up residence somewhere rather special – and that’s a good reason for a lovely piece of scoring from Leo Birenberg (and when are we going to get a soundtrack release?!).

Meanwhile Brooklynn and Sammy have something of a falling out (again) before finally adopting Sammy’s plan and locating the underground lair. There they find some videos about the E-750… and the threat level that that represents is turned up to 11. Greg Chun voices Dr Wu, who now seems to be the connective tissue through all elements of the franchise.

Verdict: Minimal Ben and Bumpy adds to the escalating threats this time out. 8/10
