Fell travels to Edinburgh… not for the first time.

There’s another minisode in this episode, called The Resurrectionists, which just so happens to be the name of the Edinburgh pub that’s mysteriously transforming the discs on its jukebox into Buddy Holly’s Everyday.

As with the previous chapter, the lion’s share is debuted to a historical episode featuring Aziraphale and Crowley, who initially appear as observers before intervening for the greater good. Questions abound around the morality of body snatching and how the cadaver holds the secrets to curing future illnesses.

The modern-day activity feels the most lightweight and could do with a burst of excitement – it just feels mildly amusing and inconsequential, though I’m sure this won’t last.

Verdict: The episodic nature of this second season continues with an enjoyable side story, but the main narrative could do with a boost. 6/10
