Minogue and O’Leary go back to school when three teen witches start threatening students.

This week it’s confirmed what we always suspected – Officer O’Leary was a bit of teacher’s pet at high school, the former prefect getting the opportunity to revisit her alma mater during the course of an investigation. It all begins when Minogue and O’Leary follow the breadcrumbs (well, crisps actually) from a shoplifting incident where packets of ‘chippies’ are floating out the door of a supermarket, right back to St Carrietta’s Girls’ High School.

The principal is evasive, trying to gloss over the explosion in the witchcraft section of the library – the school’s motto is ‘Where everything is totally fine’ after all. But evil forces are at work, courtesy of three young witches all called Brianna and wishing to wreak revenge on their classmates. The usual comedic mayhem ensues, this time involving a sewing machine, and O’Leary gets to show us a different (though still ineffective) side to her character.

Verdict: Proving that school days really aren’t the best years of your life, it’s another winning half hour of missed clues, confusion and police stupidity. 7/10
