Lockdowns suck. Who knew?

How are we feeling about an episode where our main team are forced into a lockdown that disrupts their lives but they can’t leave for fear of unleashing something bad out into the world that threatens life, potentially on a large scale? Could anyone relate to such an unrealistic premise?

Cue an evil demon possessing employees at the Roman Agency one by one as they try to work out how to fix the McGuffin that will eradicate it. It’s unclear initially how this can be identified but it’s not long before we get to meet it. It apparently feeds on locations that have experienced the paranormal and it seems to like Megan’s house.

Meanwhile, Susan is being given an award at a prestigious real estate profession event at which she encounters her ex and lots of side-eye from her peers, while I’m side-eying the acting skills of one of them. It’s unclear as to why exactly they are honouring her if there is so much animosity towards her in the room. It does give her Roman ‘family’ the opportunity to make an entrance and show their support though, which is handy for the plot after all the damage done by the brutal honesty the demon unleashed.

A messier instalment this week but it does have a cliff-hanger so you’ll still be left wanting answers.

Verdict: A foggier episode that sets up some scary stuff for an important character.  7/10
