An office assistant wakes up in bed after the office party, but just what exactly happened, and what’s that message on her stomach.

This whole instalment rests on Tara Pacheco’s Keisha convincing us that there may or may not be something inside her, and she does the job admirably. She’s not the first person to have woken up the morning after a big night, with gaps in her memory, but hopefully few have then spotted writing in black marker pen on their body, and the ominous message that a souvenir has been left inside them!

It’s a horrific scenario, brought even further to life as Keisha visits a rape clinic and the various risks are presented to her. She just wanted to party and now she may or may not have been attacked, and there’s no end of likely suspects. What begins as a sequence from a Saw movie moves into a whodunnit, and as the poor girl’s world collapses around her she finds little solace from her manager.

Verdict: The conclusion to this horror tale may take some swallowing (I’ll just leave that there for a moment) but as shock moments go it’s quite horrific. Arguably, the recipient had it coming, but what a grotesque moment, and as horror shorts go, this does the business. 8/10
