Titan Comics, out now

Off-World 2026: Ash has found out the true identity of Hythe’s employer, revealing a personal interest in finding the location of Alexander Selwyn’s daughter, Cleo.

The second movement of Titan’s spinoff of Ridley Scott’s 1982 sci-fi classic concludes after another unavoidable delay in the release schedules, but it’s been worth the wait. Ash is struggling to believe that the person in front of her is the same replicant built by the Tyrell Corporation to replace the deceased wife of Alexander Selwyn, the same person that Ash had been charged with murdering.

As always, the artwork by Andres Guinaldo is stunning, true to the world created in Scott’s masterpiece. From the clothing, to the tech, to the future noir environment, it’s all authentic, helping Michael Green and Mike Johnson’s script land perfectly, wrapping up the loose ends and providing a satisfying conclusion to this strand.

Verdict: The Blade Runner brand continues to be in rude health thanks to this excellent ongoing series. The characters bring fully established, it doesn’t have to rely on callbacks or Easter Eggs to prove its worth. Ash will return in a new chapter with Issue #9, finding her in Los Angeles 2027. Can’t wait. 9/10
