A struggling actor risks everything to catch his big break, but an impulsive scheme takes a few unexpected turns.

Having mentioned that the previous episode was light on twists, I can’t say the same about Candyman co-screenwriter Win Rosenfeld’s story, which is relentless in its twists and turns. Actor Harry (Ethan Embry, Once Upon a Time) is failing at auditions – he’s just not managing to get inside people’s personas – his successful wife is losing patience with him and crime seems to be the answer.

Robbing a bank at gunpoint, Harry locks eyes with the scared teller and swaps minds with her. But this isn’t a simple case of a single switch, Harry jumps from person to person at his will. A police detective is soon in the case, led to his location by a psychic who is being manipulated by the desperate fugitive. We clearly aren’t on Harry’s side, but there’s a lovely final twist that not only feel right, it’s poetic justice.

Verdict: Don’t worry about logic or credibility, just go with this body swap drama and you’ll have a great time trying to keep up and guessing what will happen next. 8/10
