Details have been released of the next instalment of the Star Cops’ adventures, arriving next month.

When a stolen cargo shuttle drifts back into lunar orbit, seemingly deserted, Nathan and Paul investigate. They uncover a conspiracy involving hijacking, smuggling – and claims of a creature at loose.

Script editor and writer Andrew Smith said: “Conflict is the most epic story we’ve told in Star Cops, with the stakes higher than they’ve ever been, not just for our heroes but for all mankind. In this concluding set of three episodes, the threat of global conflict builds towards a climax.

“Georgia Cook is a hugely welcome new member of the writing team. In Adrift, she’s applied her expertise in the horror genre to deliver an episode where, as the Star Cops are dealing with the fallout from a tragedy, they’re faced with a mystery that raises the question – could there actually be monster aliens in space?

“Tick Tock and The Final Gambit form a two-episode finale to the set. Roland Moore and I have worked together many times, and again he’s delivered an episode that sets up our ending in gripping and intensely dramatic style. It was a tough act to follow, but also very satisfying to run with what Roland had given me.”
