Existentialism at 25.

It sounds harsh, but a quarter-life crisis strikes a struggling young being in this week’s Strange Planet.

Not only do the writers have a knack for hitting the proverbial nail on the head in terms of weaving short stories that will resonate with the broadest of audiences, but their comic timing and genius in terms of the alternate-naming of… well, stuff… is bloody delicious.

This strange naming convention has become my favourite thing about Strange Planet, and this week it has me giggling into my phone screen on the tube. If an episode of anything can leave me unable to suppress whatever emotion it’s provoking in public then that’s a sure sign it’s hitting the mark. Tiny Trash. OMG it’s funny. The timing, the delivery… just wait for it. I’m awarding 2 extra points just for that.

As always it will wrap you in joy, come the closing minutes. Could this be my new ‘comfort TV?’ I’m here for it.

Verdict: You’re doing amazing, sweetie. And so’s this episode. 10/10
