The survivors in the Titan realm meet up and plan a return to the real world.

There’s a lot of emotion in this season finale, and it’s all earned. A grandmother meets her grandchildren for the first time, believing that she’s only been away for 57 days – it’s really 57 years. And because it’s the final show, there’s a bit of budget saved for a showdown between two impressive beasts.

The survivors rig up the exploration pod so that they can return to their realm, but is this even possible, and what world will they be returning to? Whatever happens, things can never be the same again, and there’s an ending that positively cries out for a second season.

Verdict: At times, the show has faltered in its pace, but when it’s focused, it’s an exciting fantasy series with a budget to match its aspirations. 9/10
