Elle plots her revenge with help from J, but Police Chief Grant mobilizes a massive LAPD manhunt to find and eliminate her.

The Blade Runner sequel pushes the story along for another 20 minutes without adding an awful lot. Elle has co-opted J to help track down the hunters, offering him whatever money or tech she retrieves from them. He suggests that she walks away, but she’s in too deep now.

Elle uses the images from her memories to create hard copies of the hunters’ faces and then calls upon Doc Badger to search databases for a match. Elsewhere, Police Chief Grant has 40 officers ready to descend on Elle, making it very clear to Davis that she needs to back off, and arrogant Blade Runner proves just how ruthless he is.

Verdict: A solid instalment which necessarily moves pieces into position ready for the second half of the season. 6/10
