Supermarionation supremo David Elliott – aka Dave the Director – has died aged 92.
Elliott’s career included directing classic episodes of Thunderbirds, as well as the Andersons’ previous series Supercar, Fireball XL5 and Stingray; he returned to the director’s chair for the anniversary episodes in 2015 as well as the later projects by the same team.
