The latest Star Wars TV series to enter production continues to add to its cast, with news that Squid Game star Lee Jung-Lae will be its male lead.

Deadline broke the news that Lee will be joining Amandla Steinberg and Jodie Turner-Smith in the series set during the days of the High Republic – before the period we know from the movies and current TV shows.  Leslye Headland is writing, directing and showrunning.
