The first movie in Netflix’s ambitious three-film sequence based on the work of RL Stine is now out – with the other parts coming over the next two Fridays.
In much the same way that Stine’s works serve as a gateway to horror literature, this feels like an adolescent ‘best of’ intro to the slasher flicks of that decade.
