The Flash season 7 will see new arrivals and some departures of long-standing characters.

The 150th episode (episode 17 of this season) will see the arrival of Bart Allen – Barry and Iris’ son from the future – played by Jordan Fisher, and along for the ride will be Jessica Parker Kennedy returning as Nora West-Allen for a few episodes.

However, this season will see original cast members Tom Cavanagh and Carlos Valdes leave. Cavanagh was originally meant to leave at the end of season 6, but the pandemic shutdown moved episodes into season 7, and since that was wrapped up, he’s now a recurring guest star. Valdes’ last appearance as Cisco Ramon will be in the season finale.

“Tom and Carlos have been an integral part of our show for seven seasons, and will be greatly missed,” The Flash executive producer/showrunner Eric Wallace said in a statement to Deadline who broke the news. “Both are incredible talents who created beloved characters that fans and audiences around the world have come to love. Which is why we are happily keeping the door open for return appearances.”
