The Man With Kaleidoscope Eyes, Joe Dante’s biopic of legendary director and producer Roger Corman, will start filming next year.
The news was confirmed in an article in Vanity Fair about Company X, which has grown out of Spectrevision, Elijah Wood’s company that has backed independent horror films for the last few years. “I’ve been working on this project for the better part of a decade,” Dante told Vanity Fair. “But there’s always been a prejudice against films about filmmaking, and this one compounds the problem by being a period picture set in the 1960s. We came close—twice—to getting it made, but the productions fell apart.”
