The Man of Steel will be making a proper appearance in the first two episodes of the CW’s Supergirl.

“Greg, Ali and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl,” Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg, who co-created the series with fellow exec producers Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler, explained. “We cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!” From the comments, it seems unlikely that either Smallville’s Tom Welling or Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill are in line to appear.

Supergirl debuts on the CW on Monday nights.
