As preparations for the fifth season of HBO’s vampire hit series continue, TV Line has revealed that My Name is Earl star Dale Dickey has been signed up for a recurring role as Annie, the werewolf mother of Marcus, the former werewolf packmaster.

“Powerful and respected within the pack due to her late son’s position, Annie is determined to perform a particular ritual,” the site notes, and wonders if this will mean major problems for Alcide, Joe Mangianello’s werewolf, who killed Marcus along with Sam Merlotte.
