Stargate’s Ben Browder joins Doctor Who

Stargate and Farscape star Ben Browder is the latest addition to the Doctor Who cast, according to the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine.

In addition to the previously-announced Rupert Graves, Mark Williams and David Bradley (all of whom, it is now confirmed, will appear in Chris Chibnall’s episode 2), Browder will be appearing alongside Downton Abbey‘s Adrian Scarborough in Toby Whithouse’s wild west episode, shooting in Spain. This is expected to air third, and is being directed by Saul Metzstein.

Steven Moffat has confirmed that he is writing the exit episode for the Ponds, promising it will be “quite heartbreaking.”

Doctor Who Magazine 445 is on sale from March 8th.

  6. At least he’s doing something since SG-1 has been finished… Will be interesting to see the ratings for that episode.
