Wendell Pierce is to play Perry White in James Gunn’s new Superman movie – which is now simply to be known as Superman.
Pierce, most recently seen in Prime Video’s Jack Ryan series, joins David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane in the revival of the Man of Steel currently filming for a July 11, 2025 release.

I like Wendell Pierce. He should be a very good addition to the Superman universe.
