Johan Renck may no longer be involved with the Dune TV spinoff (see our story here), but he’s staying in the genre, directing and executive producing a new version of John Wyndham’s The Day of the Triffids for Amazon.

According to THR, Amazon may be looking to create multiple miniseries, showing the invasion from various different viewpoints, based on Wyndham’s 1951 novel.
