Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Stephen King’s upcoming novel will focus on the character of Holly Gibney from the Mr Mercedes trilogy and The Outsider.

Speaking to The Kingcast podcast, the prolific author confirmed that he had completed the book, which would seem likely to arrive in 2023. According to King, Holly “was supposed to be a walk-on character and she just kind of stole the book and stole my heart. So, I just finished a novel and it’s called ‘Holly,’ and it’s all her, man.” Cynthia Ervo played her in the HBO adaptation of The Outsider.
