Claws and Lost star Harold Perrineau will be the star of Epix and Neflix’s new horror series, From.

Deadline broke the news that Perrineau will play Boyd Stevens, the sheriff whose draconian rules have held a fragile town together. No one can leave this apparently ordinary American town, and the residents are fearful of what’s out there in the woods. Perrineau’s Stevens is just one of many searching for a way to escape this seemingly inescapable nightmare.

Production is expected to start soon in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
