This week’s episode of Snowpiercer catches up with Jennifer Connolly’s character Melanie… and leaves us with something of a conundrum

Clearly the writers want us to sympathise with Melanie’s current plight and battle against the odds to deliver data that may lead to the salvation of all humanity. But they also put enough in there to temper that sympathy, and make us ask just how good a person she really can be
