NOS4A2 returns to UK screens tonight for a second season, and we caught up with creator Joe Hill to find out where the show goes this year.

In a detailed discussion Hill tells Nick Joy about the challenges and the pleasures of the second year.

The second season … starts at 70 miles per hour and never slows down. By the time it gets to episodes four and five, it’s moving like a rocket. It’s much more tense, it has an amplified sense of menace.
