The original Jurassic Park and Stanley Kubrick’s version of The Shining are two of the films chosen to join the US National Film Registry in the 30th annual list.
These are films deemed to be culturally, historically or aesthetically significant to the US film heritage.
Other movies added this year include Brokeback Mountain, Disney’s Cinderella, My Fair Lady and Hitchcock’s Rebecca.
