polarity_day_largeThe Doctor Who Appreciation Society is holding a special Polarity Day to celebrate Jon Pertwee’s time as the Third Doctor.

This special event on 23rd October 2016 at Wimbledon Theatre celebrates Jon’s time as the Doctor, as DWAS unveils its Heritage Plaque to honour him. A limited number of tickets to attend the unveiling of the plaque itself are available at £10-00, exclusively for DWAS members.

You can also visit the website to help the DWAS raise funds for the plaque and for Jon’s favourite charity, the Water Rats’ by buying a set of TARDIS Roundel Badges’ allowing you to wear a piece of TARDIS wall. An eBay auction of various items is being prepared too.

The DWAS has now informed us that due to high demand, the event will now be in a larger auditorium at the Wimbledon Theatre, and will include extra guests John Levene (Sergeant Benton) and Bernard Holley (Axon Leader). DWAS President Colin Baker will also be discussing working with Jon. Up to four tickets can now be obtained per person.
