Radio Times 908In a major interview in the new Radio Times, Doctor Who star Jenna Coleman repeatedly refuses to be drawn on the future of her character, Clara Oswald.

Rumours have circulated for some time that she will be leaving at Christmas, but beyond confirming that she’s filming Doctor Who until October (shooting on the Christmas special began on September 8), she makes it clear that “if you know I’m in the next series – or if you know I’m off – you’ll know how the story ends.”

The interview covers the way she works with Capaldi. and Clara’s feelings towards the new Doctor. Series 8 is more about “what happens when his addiction to knowledge, curiosity, exploring puts people in danger.”

The new issue of Radio Times is out in the UK today; the iPad edition includes a copy of the 10 Greatest Companions special.
