Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica FX maestro Doug Drexler has teamed up with award-winning writer Marc Scott Zicree and director Neil Johnson to work on Space Command, a new series of SF films bringing back the spirit of the great exploration films and TV series of the 1950s – and they need your help.
Rather than go the normal studio route, the team has decided to use Kickstarter.com to finance the project. Fans who contribute to the Kickstarter campaign are eligible to receive exclusive rewards in exchange for individual pledges ranging from $5 to $10,000. Contributions of $5000 or greater include rewards of Associate Producer credit and even an appearance in the first film.
