Jon Turtletuab has been attached to direct the pilot of Haunted, a new series from ABC Studios. Best known to genre fans for his work on the early episodes of Jericho and for executive producing the horror mini-series Harper’s Island, he also directed the Nicolas Cage movies National Treasure and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

Written by Cory Goodman, Haunted is described by Deadline.com as “a supernatural character procedural that follows Jessica Garrity, a paranormal investigator who each week helps the living move on from a spirit that can’t let go.” The pilot is being produced ABC, Turteltaub’s Junction Entertainment and Masters of Horror producer Adam Goldworm.
