Less than 36 hours until 2021 arrives, and we’re at the halfway point of our countdown.
2020 saw a number of key people in the genre pass away, including writers James E. Gunn, Ben Bova and Dave Galanter; Star Wars stars Jeremy Bulloch and Dave Prowse; both the creators of Scooby-Doo – Joe Ruby and Ken Spears ; 007 stars Sir Sean Connery, Honor Blackman, Diana Rigg, Michael Lonsdale and Max von Sydow; and Doctor Who writers Philip Martin, Wally K Daly and Pip Baker.
The obituary that was most looked at, and was our five highest post of 2020, was for Doctor Who and Sapphire & Steel guest star David Collings, whose contributions to both franchises for Big Finish continued for many years. You can read that here.
