The final film in the Harry Potter saga, and CW’s long-running Supernatural were the biggest genre winners at the People’s Choice Awards held on January 11 in Los Angeles.

Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows Part 2 was Favourite Movie, Favourite Action Movie, and had the Favourite Ensemble Movie Cast as well as the Favourite Book Adaptation.

Supernatural was the Favourite Network TV Drama, and Favourite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show.

While Wolverine‘s Hugh Jackman won Favourite Action Movie Star, Ryan Reynolds was perhaps a surprise choice as Favourite Movie Superhero for his role as DC’s Green Lantern, beating Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence who all appeared in various Marvel films last summer.
