British actor David Graham, probably best known for voicing “Nosey” Parker on Thunderbirds, has died aged 99.
He also voiced other characters for the original Thunderbirds including Brains and Kyrano, reprising Parker for the animated reboot Thunderbirds are Go! His association with Gerry and Sylvia Anderson went back to Four Feather Falls, and he appeared in both Fireball XL5 and Stingray. During lockdown he returned to Supermarionation to provide voices for Nebula-75.
Graham contributed Dalek voices to Doctor Who – returning to the role last year for the revised version of the first Dalek serial, released as The Daleks in Colour – as well as appearing on screen opposite William Hartnell and Tom Baker. Readers with younger family members will also recall him as Grandpa Pig in the Peppa Pig series.
R.I.P., David. You will always be greatly remembered as one of the very first Dalek voices.
