Brendan Fraser is continuing his association with the DC multiverse, with news that he has been cast in the new HBO Max Batgirl movie.

It’s believed he’ll be playing Firefly opposite Leslie Grace’s Barbara Gordon/Batgirl. The movie is written by Christina Hodson with Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah directing. Fraser has been providing the voice for Robotman on Doom Patrol, as well as playing the character in flashbacks.
