Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Damaris Hayman, best known to SF fans as the white witch Olive Hawthorne in the Doctor Who story The Daemons, and its follow-ups, has died aged 91.

Reeltime Pictures’ Keith Barnfather posted the news to social media.  In addition to her appearance on Doctor Who, Hayman reprised the role of Hawthorne for Reeltime’s The Witch Witch of Devil’s End, and appeared on Mr Majeka and Super Gran, as well as the series The Witches’ Brew.
