Sci-Fi Bulletin: Exploring the Universes of SF, Fantasy, Horror and Spy-fi!

Dune star Timothee Chalamet will be playing Willy Wonka in the new origin story movie coming from Warner Bros. in 2022, according to a report at Deadline.

Paul King will direct the movie based on the screenplay he wrote with Simon Farnaby. The film will chart Wonka’s rise to fame, prior to his sending out the Golden Tickets as seen in both Roald Dahl’s books and the previous feature films.
