20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Saturn 3 star Kirk Douglas has died, aged 103.
Although best known for his work outside the genre in films such as Spartacus, in his long career Douglas appeared in a number of key genre movies that included Ulysses, The Fury, The Final Countdown and the 1973 Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde, as well as appearing on the small screen in Touched by an Angel and Tales from the Crypt.

Everyone, even me, remembers him for Saturn 3. I watched that Touched by an Angel episode just for him. It was excellent.
