Sam Raimi and Evan Spiliotopoulos are teaming up for a screen version of James Herbert’s novel, Shrine.
Spiliotopoulos will write and direct, according to the Deadline report, producing alongside Raimi and Rob Tapert. The action of the 1983 novel will be transplanted to the United States, but the central story of a place of pilgrimage after a miracle cure will remain.
