Harry Treadaway has been cast as Brady Hartsfield, aka Mr Mercedes, in David E. Kelley’s adaptation of Stephen King’s trilogy of tales.
Anton Yelchin had been set to play Hartsfield, who commits vehicular manslaughter on a grand scale, prior to his death in June. Treadaway, who recently was seen as Dr Victor Frankenstein on Penny Dreadful, has taken the role, according to The Hollywood Reporter, opposite Brendan Gleason as driven retired cop Bill Hodges who is determined to bring the killer to justice. The A T &T series is set to debut in 2018.
