Fox has decided not to renew its prehistoric drama series Terra Nova, after weeks of discussing various ways of tweaking the second series.
According to Deadline, the producers at 20th Century Fox TV will now start shopping the series around to other networks in the hope of keeping the project alive.
The website also notes that it was Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly who was responsible for the decision to cancel Terra Nova after discussions with potential new showrunners failed to ignite his interest sufficiently to green light the expensive series, which has not been the break-out hit that the network had hoped for.
