Nandor and Laszlo air out their differences on a hunting trip at an isolated cabin, Nadja has a girls’ night in and Guillermo reconnects with his family for the first time in twelve years.
After last week’s wedding, it’s back to the usual antics as the team split into separate plots. The stories are all fun in the their own right, but this lacks some of the synchronicity we’ve been enjoying with the housemates in one location.
Nandor, Laszlo and Colin are on a boys’ hunting trip with Sean, but this soon descends to bickering between the alpha vampires, while also confronting the legendary Jersey Devil. Nadja’s girly night in doesn’t take off until she meets Guillermo’s estranged family, with both dudes revealing and discovering secrets about the vampire hunter.
Verdict: A perfectly fine episode, but it’s no classic after the last three. 6/10
