Baby Colin reaches that awkward age and Sean steps in to adjudicate.

There’s a lot happening in the season finale, which hits the reset switch in some areas while also setting up some interesting ideas for future seasons. It’s tricky to judge it as a regular episode because it’s more of a series bridge than a standalone comedy. That’s not to say there aren’t great moments in it – Nadja employing the souls of the famous to record fast food ads is a hoot, and Colin Robinson as a sulky teenager is all too relatable.

While its opener was nothing special, this season has grown in quality, delivering at least three classics, which is a pretty good batting average for a show in its fourth year. I look forward to seeing what happens next.

Verdict: The vampires bow out in an instalment that creates as many new issues as resolutions. At its best, this is still one of the funniest shows on TV. 8/10
