When Nandor and Laszlo are abducted by a coven of witches, the others must venture to Brooklyn to rescue them.

Another beautifully observed window on the lives of our hapless vampire community, who this time are abducted by witches, planning to harvest vampire semen to help keep themselves looking young. An added complication is that Nadja and lead witch Lilith (Lucy Punch, A Series of Unfortunate Events) have a vendetta due to Lazlo’s previous dalliance.

All the gang end up in the haunted house, with Colin Robinson being particularly unhelpful and tedious at getting them out of locked rooms. As always, great makeup and visual effects sit alongside a beautifully observed script and some killer sight gags.

Verdict: Just a joy to watch, this show continues to delight, and the only downer is that there’s just one left to go. 9/10
