When workmen disturb a Pakeha burial ground underneath the police station, an annoying old ghost possesses Sarge.

The trouble with building a police station on top of a cemetery for Caucasians is that their spirits could get loose if disturbed, thus all hell is literally let loose when high speed broadband is installed at the Wellington police station. Cue a series of comedic calamities as the ineffective officers blunder their way to a solution.

The early clues are scary messages appearing on PCs and a horrific flicker book created on the pages of a photocopier. The spirits have entered the station’s circuitry, and a session on a police-issue Ouija board only makes things worse as golf ghost ‘Whitey’ Whiteman, AKA The Bogeyman (it’s a golf reference) appears.

Verdict: Possession, time loops, sporty spooks – there’s no shortage of supernatural nonsense to enjoy this week. 7/10
