After giving a talk at a high school, Minogue and O’Leary confiscate a haunted leather jacket that makes whoever wears it cool – something neither Minogue nor O’Leary are used to.
A fun half hour with one of the lesser-used horror tropes, the possessed item. Minogue and O’Leary were never the cool kids at school, so when a jacket starts calling them to put it in they can’t resist its lure.
Both leads have great fun hamming it up in their approximations of cool, from the swagger to the anti-establishment pushback. The explanation and resolution is fairly straightforward and once again it’s not a case of an explosive finale, rather an agreement to do things a little differently.
Verdict: Daft but agreeable clothes-based possession. 7/10
