Railing against the rules in the house, Thrash and Mo are persuaded to help Swindle out.

This is a showcase for Zion Broadnax as Mo and Zeno Robinson as Twitch and it works really well. The script steers into the fact the leads are children and uses Thrash’s impulsiveness and Mo’s good nature to explore what happens when power and strength aren’t tempered with experience. Neither of them do anything overtly bad (except perhaps for the pro wrestling inspired moment Mo ‘throws’ Thrash out of a window) but neither of them fully know right from wrong and that’s where the trouble starts.

Swindle, their ‘friend’, is voiced by video game legend and voice actor Nolan North. He’s the perfect choice and his plausible, just this side of believable story, is a great way of leading them off the beaten path. Better still he sells Swindle’s greatest weakness perfectly: not being able to follow through on a con. When he snaps and threatens Mo, Thrash realizes what he really wants and a fight ensues. Again, the Terrans’ difference is their strength, Thrash’s love for Mo over-riding his impulsiveness.

Verdict: Heartfelt and small scale this is still a good time and a welcome demonstration of how the show can operate on multiple scales. 7/10
