The dark side of destiny.
This episode hits much higher on the disturbing scale, and right from the first scene, ‘eye’ tell you, those of a nervous disposition might want to look away.
Perfectly executed, gruesomely similar ‘accidents’ befall anyone who enters one of the properties and we get to know how terrible a ‘watchmaker’ ghoul is, one that can control destiny in the most cruel and precise of ways. Without question it’s the most sinister and unnerving spectral being we’ve met yet in SurrealEstate and there is something very wrong about the woman who was supposedly wrongly incarcerated for murdering her tenant.
The second storyline this episode provides some lighter relief but as the identity of the illegible name on the list of open-house guests, aka potential victims, is revealed, I’m genuinely worried, the tension has been built so well. It appears that over the course of six episodes, while certain relationships have only been sketched out at best, the fact that we care about these characters has crept up on us and gone ‘boo’. I can’t say any more without spoiling a nail-biting conclusion…
Verdict: Nailed it… almost. 9/10
