Love, dancing, and joy! What on prehistoric earth could go wrong?

Keeping up with the Harrises’ mood swings and 180 degree turns (Gavin, I’m looking at you) has never been easy, but the pace of their allegiance U-turns seems to have been increasing. Strange though it must be to come face to face once again with the man your wife had an affair with, it’s even stranger when it’s been days (or is that weeks?) for you but years for him. It’s OK, Levi returns with some baggage that contains a strong motive for revenge… on James.

What?

I mean, I get it, but I can’t quiet the little voice in my head sniping at the convenient plot device. Why is this such a problem for me in this show? I think it’s because things tend to get resolved so quickly. They ramp up the tension like a stretched rubber band, only to let it snap back too quickly, and it burns their fingers.

The Red Wedding it isn’t, but I’ve got to give points for one shocking thing I wasn’t expecting, and some heavy doses of romance… well, it is a wedding, after all. It’s sweet to see Veronica and Lucas becoming closer, and at least we get an excuse for Eve to wear something other than that fur-lined jacket. Why has everyone waited so long to dig into that convenient costume truck they found ages ago?

Verdict: Love conquers… not that much, to be fair. 4/10
